Good morning and happy Friday.
Are you ready for the adoption era?
Who benefits from AI will matter more than ever under an Andy Burnham premiership, with a generational opportunity to focus on adoption and improved outcomes across the public sector.
The PSC has thought deeply about these problems for 20 years and is ready to help you get up to speed. Phil Buckley has led digital transformation projects across the UK Space Sector, the BBC, and FCDO among others. Get in touch with him to find out how he can help your organisation adopt AI.
Happening Next Week 📆
It's the final week of Parliament before the summer break and the last with Keir Starmer as prime minister. The Lords will chat AI's impact on employment on Monday afternoon thanks to a question from Labour peer Wajid Khan.
On Tuesday morning, it's our breakfast event with an expert panel plus Lucy Rigby. MPs will quiz Innovate UK boss Tom Adeyoola followed by RIO chair David Willetts that morning, while the Lords' Science and Technology Committee speaks to UKRI boss Ian Chapman. The Cyber Security and Resilience Bill is also in the Lords that afternoon, while the Representation of the People Bill should complete its Commons' passage.
On Thursday the Lords sits with a very generic sounding debate on AI and then they're off until September. Pathfounders hosts an evening panel on sovereign AI opportunities for founders and investors at Google's Tottenham Court Road office.
