Where we get personal information from

How long we keep information

We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations.

Subscribers We hold your name and email address for as long as you remain a subscriber to The Morning Intelligence. If you unsubscribe, we will delete your contact details within 30 days. You can also delete your account when you unsubscribe which will delete all the personal information we hold. Note that Ghost, our email and subscription platform, may retain data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Payment and billing information We do not store your payment card details directly. Payments are processed by Stripe, which retains transaction records in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations. We retain records of transactions (such as subscription history and amounts paid) in line with HMRC requirements for accounting and tax purposes.

Sponsorship and advertiser contacts We retain contact details for current and prospective sponsors and advertisers for as long as the commercial relationship is active, plus two years thereafter, unless you ask us to remove your details sooner.

Your rights You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. Where we are required to retain data for legal or regulatory reasons, we will explain this to you at the time of your request. To make a request, contact editor@themorningintelligence.uk
