Happy Friday, I'm off to cool down on a beach this weekend, but first a scoop on the Tony Blair Institute which is doubling down on its AI focus and consulting on staff redundancies.


Happening Next Week 📆

Monday is a bank holiday and Parliament is off until next Monday, June 1. The government confirmed yesterday that the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill will return to the Commons on June 10.

On Tuesday the social media and chatbot consultation closes, on Wednesday the government should be responding to the Foreign Affairs' Committee report on tackling misinformation from hostile states, on Thursday Dealroom drops a load of data on global tech ecosystems. On Friday tech secretary Liz Kendall is meeting G7 digital ministers in Paris.
