Risk report: Senior financial services leaders are warning this morning of a critical gap in AI governance standards which leaves the UK exposed to systemic risks.The research comes from Zango with the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative.
Skill up: OpenAI and Enterprise Nation are bringing together 200 SMEs in London for a skills workshop. Research from OpenAI shows SMEs are saving around five hours a week with AI tools but there are large gaps across ages and sectors, with one in five SMEs not using AI at all.
It's over: Parliament winds up today and the Children's Wellbeing Bill finally passed the Lords yesterday after ministers agreed to Conservative peers' demands to commit to social media age restrictions for under-16s. But not all were happy with the Lib Dems and many cross-bench peers continuing to vote against the government. Parliament is back on May 13 for the state opening and King's Speech.
