What to expect from The Morning Intelligence

What we'll cover, who it will help and how much it'll cost.

The Morning Intelligence tells the UK’s AI story through the most-relevant reporting and sharp analysis.

It covers the people, policies and politics shaping AI in the UK, as well as AI's impact on our country. It aims to set you up for the day (and save you several hours) with intel, insight and analysis, anchored in a newsletter that takes less than five minutes to read or listen to.

It will cover:

-The people and companies building Britain’s AI future

-The policies, politics and regulation impacting AI in areas like safety, skills, energy, procurement, copyright and competition.

-The geopolitics of the UK's AI strategy

-The AI data centre buildout

If you've got something to say about any of the above then do get in touch.

Who’s it for?

This is for anyone who needs to know about AI in the UK, including founders, investors, policymakers, politicians, lobbyists, advocacy groups, regulators, academics, journalists, think tankers and law firms.

It will help…

-Policy pros overloaded by government papers, consultations and rumours

-Think tanks and academia needing clarity

-Tech companies facing regulatory and political uncertainty

-Investors and founders needing foresight

What to expect

The Morning Intelligence arrives in your inbox at 7:30 a.m. weekdays, with a link also sent to our WhatsApp channel (follow here and unmute notifications). That link gives you an audio version of the newsletter too.

All content is free until Monday April 13th. After that, free subscribers will see a preview of the top of the newsletter. A paid subscription gets you full access and is charged at £30/month for an individual or £20/month as an annual subscription. By far the cheapest option is a group subscription (minimum of five seats) which works out at £15/month per seat or £12.50/month annually.

The group subscription costs 70p a day per person - something to tell your finance department. This pricing aims to make the product as accessible as possible. It costs a tiny fraction of its nearest comparable product.

It won’t publish for two weeks over Christmas or two weeks over August - we all need a break and I have two young children who need to see their daddy sometimes.

I hope you find it useful, good value and occasionally funny.

You can find out more about my motivation and the ideas underpinning it here.

Thanks for reading and do get in touch with any ideas, tips or state secrets.
